Pilipino American Unity for Progress (UniPro) and the Philippine Consulate General in New York invite you to participate in New York's 5th annual
Philippine Graduation Ceremony
Saturday, June 9th, 2018, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Philippine Consulate General in New York
565 Fifth Ave., New York, NY
The event is open to all Filipino-American academic candidates who have successfully completed coursework in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral field this year.
The Philippine Graduation Ceremony (known as P-Grad) has been a tradition for many years in colleges and universities along the West and East Coasts with high Filipino American student populations. At these ceremonies, community leaders commend the achievements made by graduating students of Filipino descent, and send them off to the next stage of their careers with words of encouragement.
We continue this tradition in order to celebrate the students in the New York area. During the ceremony in Kalayaan Hall, honorees will receive a P-Grad 2018 medal, a Filipino diploma, and a Citation from New York Assemblyman Brian Barnwell.
Graduates are asked to attend dressed in their school's academic regalia.
